Moving on from T-Mobile

March 21, 2016

T-Mobile did away with ETFs when it did away with contracts.

But keep an eye out for devices fees!

If you’re on a T-Mobile Equipment Installation Plan (EIP) – you pay a monthly fee toward purchasing your device. There are conditions if you cancel or change your eligibility.

If you cancel your wireless service, you will owe the remaining balance on your devices immediately.

If you change plans, make sure the type of plan you switch to is still eligible. For example, a switch from post- to pre-paid plans may impact your eligibility for various offers and devices.

Also, always remember that taxes are also in the mix for the final tally. Any of the carriers will press for late or non-payment fees when closing out an account.
